I was listening to the Neal Boortz show this morning and he said something that I profoundly disagree with. His statement was that he understands why blacks will vote for Obama simply because of his skin color. He said he didn't have a problem with that as long as they admitted it. His reasoning was that, because of the past suffering of blacks as slaves, there should be understanding behind why they would be gung ho for a President simply because of his skin color.
I call bullhonky. I have been known to say things that upset people so here comes another one.
If you are black(or white for that matter) and are voting for Obama simply because of his skin color you are amongst the most ignorant and stupid group in America. You will be the reason this country ultimately fails. Black people tend to worship the words of Martin Luther King Jr. and yet completely fail to follow through when it comes to this election. He specifically said that you don't judge a man by the color of his skin but by the content of his character. He wasn't talking to one specific minority or race. He was talking to EVERYONE! And his words hit the hardest when it comes to someone like Obama. Obama is friends with terrorists, supports infanticide, is a strong advocate of socialism, is the LEAST qualified person to EVER run for President, and will say ANYTHING to get there. MLK was a conservative Republican because the Republicans were the only ones fighting for the civil rights issues at the time. It was the Democrats who opposed giving black people the freedom they deserved and frankly, MLK would be ashamed of any black person today who would vote Obama. I would love to hear the speech he would deliver today if he could. I think it would go something like this. "I HAD a dream that one day people in this nation would listen to my words about content of character, but nevermind, you're a bunch of morons."
On the other side of the coin I must say this. If you are black and have decided to educate yourself enough politically to find out that you should vote for McCain, or at least NOT vote Obama, then I congratulate you on a job well done. I understand that there is peer pressure and a 'group mentality' when it comes to voting Obama, but if you are courageous enough to swim against the current, then you sir, or ma'am, are a truly amazing individual.

Would you really like to know why blacks vote for the Democrats (not just Obama) overwhelmingly? If you find out the real reason why, will you personally commit to helping to fix the problem? It is far easier to complain about it and say "shame on you, black voters," which is what most people have done.
I am black and am not voting for Obama. But I have an entire section of my blog devoted to the issue of why blacks don't vote Republican. I've researched it and know personally why because, although I now generally support Republican candidates, for years, the resentment I held against the GOP led me to vote Democratic even though I disagreed with their platform and was more aligned with the Republicans. A lot of black people are like I was some years ago.
Fact: even if Obama wins 100% of the black vote (which he won't, since I'm not voting for him), that would only be an 11% improvement over the percentage of the black vote that John Kerry and Al Gore got. Fact: no Republican Presidential Candidate has gotten more than 12% of the black vote since 1980 and no one has gotten more than 15% in 1964. Since you take it upon yourself to complain about this issue, I urge you to take it upon yourself to learn the real reasons why this happens. I think my blog, the perspective of an unaffiliated conservative black voter, would be a good place to start. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

The liberal media is the reason blacks vote Democrat because they have convinced them that they are the party of compassion which is ridiculous and so far from the truth.

That's just not true. If you haven't already, you should read my articles. Blacks don't vote Republican because the party has ignored black voters for 48 years. This is what needs to be fixed, not just the media. I know because this is why I refused to vote Republican for many years. Blacks are actually about as conservative as a group as whites.
Those black (and white) voters who voted Obama and his liberal illuminatis in will be the cause of this country failing. Blacks loved MLK and adhered to his words, which were meant for everyone. So how could they have voted for Obama simply because he was black? They voted for a man without character who will sign as his first act the FOCA, who is a friend of terrorists and appears to be a socialist. "Morons" does not adequately describe them. When they finally wake up, it will be too late.
