Thoughts on 9/11/08

1. Matt Damon is an idiot. He was quoted earlier as saying that Palin was 'scary' and that anyone who believes dinosaurs existed 4000 years ago should not have the nuclear codes.

First of all, let me point out that Damon is effectively saying that anyone who believes in the Bible should not be President. That's revolting in and of itself.

Secondly, does anyone realize that if Obama were to be voted President that he would be the first person in U.S. history to be openly friends with a terrorist and still get the highest U.S. top secret clearance? Pretty amazing that anyone is still discussing this guy seriously could be a good leader.

2. The left values abortion more than you will ever imagine.

Did you hear that sound? Yeah that would be the sound of the Left exploding over the fact that the first female VP might be a Republican. They've gone so far as to make Sarah Palin's decision to keep her mentally handicapped baby rather than slaughtering it in the ritual we call abortion.

Dr. Andre Lalonde, executive vice president of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Ottawa, worries that Palin's now renowned decision may cause abortions in Canada to decline as other women there and elsewhere opt to follow suit.

He says not every woman is prepared to deal with the consequences of Down babies, who have developmental delays, some physical difficulties and often a shortened lifespan.

Lalonde says his primary concern is that women have the choice of abortion and that greater public awareness of women making choices like Palin to complete a pregnancy and give birth to their genetically-abnormal baby could be detrimental and confusing to the women and their families.

Does anyone understand what that means? There are people out there who are actually claiming that Palin made the WRONG choice in not murdering her child.

If you are voting Obama, these are the kind of people we will see in government.
